5000 Sandwiches a Cinch!

5000 Sandwiches a Cinch!

There was a fantastic vibe down at our circle this morning when College pupils and staff got immersed in making sandwiches for charity Ladles of Love. With a recipe of 100kg of jam, 25kg of peanut butter, 10 000 slices of bread and a whole lot of team effort, the result was 5 000 sandwiches for the hungry in our community. Thank you to Ladles of Love for approaching us with your wonderful initiative; thank you to Oakhill Interact Club for driving it; thank you to Sasko for donating 500 loaves of bread and thank you to Rotary for loading them all up for distribution to Knysna’s soup kitchens! Together we celebrated the joy of giving today.
