Oakhill Prep celebrated a happy, colourful and very interactive World Book Day on Thursday 5 March!
Officially, World Book Day (also known as International Day of the Book) is a yearly event organised by UNESCO to promote reading, publishing and copyright. In the United Kingdom, the day is recognised on the first Thursday in March, and Oakhill followed suit. The children had great fun dressing up as one of their favourite characters, and then choosing a special book to read to the younger Oakhillians.
