  • Owen Anderson – received his yellow belt plus 2.
  • Cameron Frew – received his green belt plus 1.

Gymnastics

Georgie Gibson competed in Mossel Bay and came 5th in her age group level 3 10/under. She got an 8.6 on beam, 8 on bar, 8.35 on vault and 8 on floor.

SWD Aquatics Awards

Congratulations to the following Prep swimmers and water polo players who achieved awards at the SWD Aquatics Annual Awards ceremony held in George on 30 May: Joshua Smith, Sophia Trollip, Megan Robinson, Matthew Smith, Nina Micklewood, Kate Tanner, Aimee Canny and Lily Donnell.

Aimee Canny who was awarded Best Female Level 2 Swimmer, and received 6 trophies for the following:

  • 200m IM – age 10 years
  • Freestyle 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m – age 10 & 11 years
  • Breaststroke 50m & 100m – age 10 & 11 years
  • Breaststroke 50m, 100m, 200m – age 11 years
  • Butterfly 50m – age 10 and 11 years
  • Backstroke – age 10 & 11 years

Sophia Trollip received awards for representing Western Cape at SA schools championships, representing SWD provincial swimming team in Bloemfontein and trophies for

  • Trophy for 50m – age 13 years
  • Trophy for 400m Freestyle – age 13 years

Joshua Smith received awards for participating in level 1 regional championship, for representing SWD provincial swimming team in Bloemfontein, as well as the trophy for:

  • Top U13 Boy Water Polo player in the SWD region

Equestrian

Oakhill Primary currently placed in 7th position out of 12 schools in the Equestrian School League.

Netball

U11A Netball beat Hornlee Primary 8-1 to advance through to the KPSSSU Netball finals.
