*Due to certain teams not able to make the hockey festival, the coaches had to rethink the programme in order to make the festival worthwhile and fun for the players. Our u12 girls all played in equal matches on the morning against four schools in longer games. This was a great opportunity for our u12 girls to play together in preparation for next year.
Dancing
Congratulations to our Prep dancers who took part in the Dance Festival in Port Elizabeth over five days last week. Nadine du Plessis and Josie Trollip (both in Grade 4) received 8 gold medals each – one for every dance they participated in. Hannah Micklewood (Grade 7) received 7 gold medals and was runner up in the Junior Champs. Hannah also received the award for the Best National Junior Dance and the prestigious award of Most Promising Junior Dancer. Well done!
