To close the summer season, Oakhill hosted their first U9 Mini-Cricket Festival and we anticipate this initiative to grow in the future. Having the belief that every cricketer must be given an opportunity to upskill their abilities, the festival aimed to promote just that – by making it more about joy of playing cricket than the competitive nature of the sports.
This year we had the pleasure of hosting five schools from Knysna and surrounds. The success of the festival reaffirms our goal to develop young cricket players and we look forward to seeing even more schools next year. Thank you to all the schools, coaches, parents and supporters that shared in the enjoyment of the game!
