Oakhill Prep were treated to a wonderful presentation by the Trekking for Trash team, Camilla Howard and Michael Baretta on Thursday 17th January, not forgetting Jordan, Mr Can Man.
Their mission is to trek along South Africa’s coastline from Alexander Bay to Kosi Bay, collecting rubbish and creating awareness of the impact of littering. They celebrated being exactly half way when they reached Brenton- on- Sea last week.
Our new Grade 1’s were delighted when Mr Can Man came on stage. With his encouragement, we happily took a pledge to protect our treasured coastline.
