The Grade Ones enjoyed a brilliant “Bring your bike to school day” on Friday at our Oakhill Sports Campus, as part of their cross-curricular Transport theme. The day’s activities included a bicycle safety checklist, safety tips and tricks, a bike decoration station, a bike parking lot, a bicycle riding ‘testing centre’, counting in twos, and much fun riding various routes and tracks around our beautiful campus. The day ended with each child receiving their own ‘Bicycle Licence’.
Our grateful thanks goes to all our wonderful Grade One parents for getting their children and their bikes to and from the Oakhill Sports Campus. Together we all helped to make this a memorable moment in our Grade One learning programme.
