Oakhill ended the 2020 eSports season on a high note with our DotA 2 team and Clash Royale players participating in the last provincial event this year.
Team Theory (consisting of Lourens Kok, James Armstrong, Ryan Shearer, Simon Shearer and Noah Platt) dominated the 2020 DotA 2 rankings. Matthew Petersen and Sebastian Cook outplayed their opponents at almost every event this year, and are currently ranked first and second, with Matthew holding a considerable lead in comparison to the other players. Both players have earned their provincial colours in the Clash Royale eSports title this year.
The MSSA National Team trials will be held on 19 September, with the World Championships to be held in Eilat, Israel, from 6-12 December. We wish our teams the best of luck!
