The Musical Journey at Oakhill School on Friday 13 May was an inspiring event: from early beginners to music students who have done a few years on several instruments, to the pilgrims who gave us a glimpse of their commitment and joy in making music. Oakhill Prep and College had beginner singers, a viola, a flute and guitar as well as marimbas and vocal ensembles and superb soloists. Audiences were also treated to musicians making music on a more conscious level that inspired all. The journey managed to connect us in a beautiful way – thank you to each and everyone who contributed to a very special evening.
