World Book Day marks the love of literature and enjoyment of books and reading. Each year celebrations take place all over the world to acknowledge the scope of books – a connection between the past and the future, a bridge between generations and across cultures.
Prep pupils dressed up as their favourite book characters and participated in fun-filled reading activities. The IP were treated to an inspirational talk by Knysna’s own, Dr Joan Louwrens – doctor, adventurer and writer!
