Saturday’s Teddy Bear Picnic was once again a truly delightful day for Little Oaks children and their teddys, joined by their parents, grandparents and several visitors. There was much to enjoy from the arts, crafts, games and teddy bear activities – to a concert of teddy songs including some parents playing recorder with their children! The stunning new children’s kitchen was opened with much activity and thank you to Soca for supporting us with new items on our wish list. Our sincere thanks to Charlene Turpin for driving the kitchen project and Marna Bright for baking all the bears, as well as all the parents involvement on the day. A wonderful day was had by all and we look forward to donating the knitted teddy bears next term to Babies in Need.
