Stories From Under The Baobab Tree

Little Oaks’ year end concert entitled ‘Under the Baobab’ as celebrated this week, paid tribute to the children of Africa who love to sing and dance, who love to learn and play and discover all that is around them, together with some of our favourite animals who teach us a thing or two as well.

Costumes and stage decor by our Little Oaks families brought the scenes alive. This tapestry of narration, songs, dances and poems was a true expression of the “joy of learning”, evident on the faces of the children in the moment.

This year has allowed us to reassess the human qualities that matter most in our ever-changing realities. Considering how courageous we all have been, and how choosing whole-hearted living keeps us grounded, rooted and real in every aspect of our lives. Our Little Oaks reminded us of the essence of people connecting with people, connecting with nature. Such special memories of a truly happy 2022!
