An excited party of a 160 people from Oakhill Prep School travelled to Port Elizabeth to participate in the annual sports derby day against St George’s Prep. The Derby started on Friday morning with golf followed by boys and girls hockey. The children thoroughly enjoyed the social on Friday night where they danced, sung and played together, forming lifelong friendships. The Derby continued early Saturday morning with Netball, Rugby and Chess. The highlight of the weekend was definitely the way in which the fixtures were played, competitive but fair and in good spirit. It is a wonderful interaction and we will hopefully continue this Derby for many years to come. A big thank you to St George’s for all their organization and wonderful hospitality. We look forward to returning the favour next year.
