Knysna and Oakhill School boast two SA hockey players this year with Sam Mvimbi and Challenge Gobo honourably being selected to represent South Africa.
These talented and determined sportsmen were selected at the U18 Inter Provincial Tournament (IPTs) held in Durban in July, and on 2 October, it was announced that Sam would also be part of the SA Men’s U21 Hockey Squad. This is the second consecutive year for Sam Mvimbi who also played in an international Test Series last year, winning against Australia.
