Well done to Gabriel Wiessenberg, in Grade 5 who placed 2nd at the SA National Downhill Cup, in Jonkershoek Cape Town last term. Other than it being the SA National Downhill Cup it was also Round 3 of the SRAM Western Cape Downhill series. This is Gabriel’s 1st race season doing Downhill and his 3rd ever race!
In Round 1 in Paarl in February, Gabriel took 3rd place and Round 2 at Zevenwacht, Cape Town in March, he also took a 3rd place. Across three rounds so far he’s achieved the podium for each race despite his competitors having raced for 2 or 3 seasons previously. This is an incredible achievement Gabriel and we look forward to hearing about your upcoming races this year!
