Oakhill School was delighted to host the Vice-chancellor and Principal, Professor Adam Habib, from the University of Witwatersrand at their Parent Forum last week. These Parent Forums are open to the broader Knysna and Plettenberg Bay community and around 200 people attended the talk.
This charismatic South African leader inspired the audience with his passionate and thought provoking insights into education in South Africa. Despite the challenges we face, he left the audience feeling optimistic about the possibilities and growth happening in our country. Through their Parent Forums, Oakhill School aims to bring leading thinkers and public figures to Knysna, thereby encouraging thought leadership in Oakhill and the broader community.
