Having represented her country in Biathlè and having swum at Nationals, Mikayla Oliver is now currently setting the Cycling world alight. Some of her more recent achievements include – coming 4th at the Mountain Bike Cross Country National Series in Hilton and being placed 5th on the National log. She recently represented SWD at the National Youth Festival in Oudtshoorn and won gold in the Junior category for the 70 km Road Race, gold for the Junior Ladies Criterium road race, gold for the Cross Country Mountain Bike race and gold for the Mountain Bike Marathon Race. She also received a silver medal for the Team Time Trial event.
If this was not enough, she added to this the victory of the Tour de Plett 50km Mountain Bike Race, and followed this with wins in both the Pick n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival 50 km Mountain Bike Race and 50 km Road Race, and as a result was awarded the prestigious Victrix Ludorum.
