Oakhill’s Anti-Climate Change Message to COP27

The #RunningOutOfTime campaign forms part of the international 38-day non-stop relay from Glasgow in Scotland to Sharma El-Sheikh in Egypt where world leaders are set to convene for the UN Climate Change Conference (COP27) from 6 November 2022. The campaign aims to collect and vocalize youth messages all over the globe to catalyze climate action and climate change education. This week it is Oakhill’s turn to join hundreds of other schools across the country to run the relay of purpose and the purpose is simple: “Our voices must be heard” Oakhill’s relay started in our pre-prep Little Oaks and the baton containing our message was passed to the Prep school and College. Since this is a whole school message the ground staff, housekeeping, as well as the Hungry Oaks team in our tuckshop, were included in this relay around our campus.
