Our Grade 4-7s had the opportunity to test their entrepreneurial skills on an eager market of Prep and College customers during the last week of term. The pupils worked hard to create their unique products and games ranging from healthy eats such as bacon and cheese rolls to treats of brownies and toffee apples. Gifting items like bath salts, scented candles and even sunscreen were sold. Their fun games enticed all to participate in amongst others spin the wheel, shooting hoops and even “sweet pong”! In learning about entrepreneurship, the pupils also had to explain how to develop an idea, create their product and ultimately make their business idea profitable. Throughout the process, they also learnt a great deal about themselves as entrepreneurs. It was a hugely successful day with loads of sales and plenty of fun had by all!
