With heavy hearts Oakhill School, together with our partners and sponsors, are devastated to have to cancel the 2026 Oakhill Waterfront Chukka Festivals in February.
Oakhill understands the disappointment this brings to schools, players, families and the wider Knysna community and business sector. Independent laboratory results have confirmed that the Knysna Waterfront marina water is currently not fit for recreational use. Furthermore, the situation is compounded by the severe water crisis and drought facing our region.
We know that multiple levels of government, non-profit organisations and businesses are working tirelessly to address these challenges, and Oakhill remains committed to being part of the solution. Together we look ahead to welcoming everyone back to a strengthened Oakhill Waterfront Chukka Festival in 2027.
