Oakhill is truly proud of Kade Dickens together with Jonathan van den Dolder for their roles in saving two lives in a near drowning in Plett in the holidays. The rescue was featured in the press in both the Knysna Plett Herald and CX Press – where Jonathan describes how Kade a former Nipper was instrumental in averting the near drownings on Central Beach, Plett. Kade and Jonathan, follow two other Oakhill students and fellow surfers Devon Dodd and Kyle Underwood who in the last year were also instrumental in rescues on two separate incidences at Buffalo Bay.
