In the spirit of Madiba, 349 pairs of gently worn shoes were donated to vulnerable children in our community offering some comfort during this extreme winter.
Oakhill pupils collected shoes to donate to children at Knysna Education Trust (KET) and Knysna Initiative for Learning and Teaching (KILT) giving their pre-loved soles new life.
Each pair of shoes had an individualised message written on a special card coloured in by the Prep pupils. Sincere thanks to family and friends of Oakhill for your continuous care and stepping up for our community.
