The Oakhill Boys Tennis Team of Jason Fogle, Ruben Brits, Viggo Platz and Ricardo Ribeiro together with the Girls Team of Joscelin Fogle, Tessa Micic, Imogen Anderson and Catherine Donnell participated in the Backward Point Tennis Festival, which was held in Knysna from the 28 February to 2 March 2014.
The Oakhill team were managed by Mrs Jane Horn, MIC of Oakhill Prep Tennis and Mrs Debra Hyde, Oakhill Tennis Coach. Each player in the team played 1 Singles match and 1 Doubles match against each of the opposing 5 Schools. The Oakhill Tennis players played superb tennis and gained invaluable experience in match play and court craft. Their sportsmanship and good conduct both on and off the court were a credit to Oakhill. Jason Fogle and Imogen Anderson were unbeaten in all of their 5 Singles and 5 Doubles matches. Well done to all eight players on an outstanding performance and an excellent set of results.
