Erna Loots, mother to Amelie Loots in Grade 3, is one of the privileged few South Africans to currently be attending the Rio Olympics! Erna is part of a team of pharmacists that has been selected from around the world to attend to athletes for the duration of the Games. She is currently working in the athletics section, up close and personal with all world-famous athletes … checking on them before their race, checking their spikes on the shoes and working behind the scenes to ensure a safe and fair Olympics!
