Oakhill Hockey passes true test of depth

Oakhill travelled to Outeniqua yesterday to take on the might of one of the most prominent sporting schools in the Garden Route. The 1st teams and u16 teams had the privilege of playing on the new Outeniqua turf, while the u14’s played on grass. All matches were played in fantastic spirit and almost all the matches were closely contested. The 1st XI Girls came up against a very strong Outeniqua side going down 5-1, whilst the 1st XI Boys outplayed their opposition winning comfortably 3-1.

All other matches could have gone either way with the results being as follows:

u14 Boys: drew 1-1
u14 Girls : lost 3-1
u16 Boys: drew 2-2
u16 Girls: lost 2-1

The level of Hockey being played at Oakhill is exceptional and all players and coaches can hold their head’s high!
