After a long hiatus it was fabulous to get together as a whole community and connect again this last weekend as our Little Oaks, Prep and College pupils and parents and extended families joined in a relaxed afternoon of really delicious food, drinks and festivities at our Oakhill Spring Bash.
Live music by the vibrant Lani Groves and The Duud filled the beautiful campus and there were plenty of games to play, from lawn games of nougats and crosses, chess, volleyball, soccer to board games and chess, to creative colouring and playdough stations as well as face-painting. Our Eco Club also had extra hands helping them with the physical task of completing their eco brick wall To wrap up the afternoon of fun and excitment, the Knysna Plett Herald hosted a local Braai Broodjie competition to find the tastiest and winning recipe!
It was a fabulous light-hearted afternoon of activities, music, food, drinks and plenty of fun together. Thank you to the local businesses and everyone for joining in the festivities and sharing in our appreciation of our Oakhill community in our 30th anniversary year!
