Oakhill was overwhelmed by the positive response to its Miniature Art Exhibition held on Saturday 14 November. The local arts fraternity proved to be extremely supportive of this initiative and donated original miniatures as well as a once-off self-portrait by famous South African artist Leon Vermeulen. The response to the cheese and wine event was equally as impressive, and once doors opened at 17h00, art enthusiasts eagerly rushed to claim their favourite pieces. Oakhill would like to extend a huge thank you to its students and parents, donating artists and the greater Knysna community, as well as local art supplies shop The Deckle Edge and to Food Lovers Market for their wonderful support.
