This term our Foundation Phase pupils have been focusing on various character traits and learning the meaning of applying them in their life. Among these characteristics are respect, kindness, responsibility, honesty, courage, gratitude, cooperation and optimism.
On Friday our Grade 1 to 3 pupils’ civvies day focused on these characteristics encouraging children to dress as a colour that represents a specific trait and talk about their choice. How wonderful to experience their positive and powerful interpretations of what they mean. Brothers, Matthew and Nicholas also custom made their own t-shirts with all the character trait colours represented – how special!
