This year’s Matric Dance was held in superb style at Ouland Royale in Plettenberg Bay. With a feast fit for a king and venue and music to match, all had a great time! Carmen Micic shares her account of the evening: “Few words can be used to describe the events of the Matric Farewell Dance of 2014. Some may try, saying it was a “kiff, cool joll”, but honestly, it was an indescribable night. After an intimate cocktail function in the School Hall, where laughs were shared, portraits were shot and compliments of admiration were exchanged, the elegantly dressed Matric class of 2014 was whisked off into a night of royalty at the baroque-themed Ouland Royale. The venue was exquisitely decorated, perfectly capturing its theme. The matrics danced the night away; almost dancing the entire night with both students and teachers until subtly ushered off to their after party at the midnight hour. All in all, it was a magic evening that each matric will cherish in memory.”
