Over the past year our Grade R’s have been learning about various artists ~ Kandinski, Piet Mondrian, Eric Carle, Miro and Van Gogh! On Friday we were fortunate to host our very own Knysna local artist, Lucy Wood.
Ms Lucy discussed the artistic process as well as the various media that she had been using in producing her stunning art pieces. The enthusiastic and budding Grade R artists were then given an opportunity to produce art of their own. Ms Lucy is not only passionate about art, but animals are very close to her heart as an active member of ‘CX Township animals in need’. As a token of our appreciation, the Grade R group kindly donated dog and cat food to this very needy cause. Thank you for your visit and inspiration!
