Little Oaks celebrated their Father’s Day ‘get together’ on the evening of 7 June 2012. We invited Alli to facilitate a lego and duplo workshop with our Little Oaks Dads and children. Although the weather was icy outside everyone was warm and cosy in their respective classrooms, where Dads and their sons and daughters got busy building exciting creations together.
To welcome our special Dads, we sang them an assortment of happy Dad songs, beginning with ‘YMCA’ and ending with ‘Ag Pleez Daddy’. They beamed with delight! As described by one of the Grade R’s, “It was an awesome evening”. The boerewors rolls were delicious too.
