We have been delighted to resume our annual outings this year. One of the firm favourites is the visit to Kilzer’s Kitchen, where the Grade 6 pupils learn to cook. The Kilzers have a passion for cooking, teaching and people, and they are always able to perfectly impart their knowledge to the eager boys and girls. The pupils learnt how to make and serve a three course meal – the ‘starters’ team made fresh rolls and mushroom soup, the ‘mains’ team made spaghetti bolognaise and the ‘dessert’ team made churros. Tucking into a delicious meal made by themselves was a real treat!
