Knitted Teddy Bear Drive

Knitted Teddy Bear Drive

Yesterday, Mary-Anne from local charity Babies in Need came to collect the array of teddy bears that were loving knitted by Little Oaks moms, extended family members and friends in Term 1 and 2. For those not familiar with Babies in Need, this foundation is run solely by volunteers with the aim of providing basic requirements to moms and babies at the Knysna Provincial Hospital. The gorgeous teddy bears go to the hospital as a treat to the babies and tots in the children’s ward.

Thank you to all who so lovingly contributed! We have already handed over 72 bears. Please continue knitting over the holidays, as more teddy bears will be delivered throughout the remainder of the year.
