Little Oaks families and friends have lovingly supported Babies in Need with a beautiful selection of lovingly knitted or crocheted teddy bears, which are donated annually to support moms and babies at the Knysna Provincial Hospital.
Our teddy bear project has been providing newborns and ill young children with love and comfort for over 10 years. We are asking our community to get knitting/crocheting once again or to help by donating wool to our elderly knitters who are very keen to craft!
Little Oaks children will hand-over the bears at the start of Term 4. We would love to gift 100 teddy bears as we have in the past. A reminder to not attach items eg. buttons, eyes, etc. Everything must please be knitted or embroidered on..
