In our 30th anniversary year, Oakhill has focused on giving back to those in need with a particular emphasis on food security. Today was a particularly special day for our Foundation Phase (Grade 1-3) children who were very pleased to donate R10 000 through Kfm 94.5 towards the Peninsula School Feeding Association to eradicate childhood hunger. The funds were generated by the pupils from their market day and Oakhill is humbled to support this inspiring initiative to feed school children in need for the year. Kindness and caring for one another is one of our core values of our school and our children exhibitied this today with their donation – from one child to another ‘Feeding Our Future’
