The Slot Car Nationals were held in Port Elizabeth from 15 – 19 June. There were 26 people taking part – from different clubs accross the country Knysna, PE, East London, Brakpan and Witbank. Of the participants 6 were still in the junior class, their ages two 17 year olds, three 16 year olds… and Kevin -11 years old.
There were 4 events – Historics, Production, GT12, 1:32 scale – each day, and two days or racing.
Kev performed AMAZINGLY! He left with 3 second places (GT12 Day 2, Production Day 1 and Production Day 2) and 3 third places (1:32 Day 1, GT12 Day 1, Historics Day 1).
This is, as always, an amazing achievement by someone as young as Kevin is and we are so proud of him!
