We were invited to a grand celebration and “awarding of prizes ceremony” yesterday at Cruise Café. The honorable mayor presented the prizes and I must commend both Liam Watts (1st prize winner in the 6-9 age group) and Mishke Fitzmaurice (2nd prize winner) for their effort and their exemplary manners on receiving their cash prizes.
Due to the fact that we had 2 winners from our school, they won R1,000 for Oakhill.
