Last week our Grade 3s learnt about the inventor Walter Diemer and his invention – Bubblegum. Using a number of interrelated theme activities; including creative design where they designed their our own packaging, brand and flavour of Bubblegum; they took their own invention from concept to end-design. They documented their idea by drawing it, writing about it and finally explaining their creation to their class.
As a sweet treat they were indulged with homemade Bubblegum Ice- cream made by our very own Finn Sheridan and Georgia Wood. The final stage of their bubblegum experience included learning how to blow a bubble – yum-yum bubblegum!
