Oakhill’s Interact Club attended a training course with Rotary on Saturday, 29 August, at the Belvidere Manor. It was a very informative and enriching experience with Interactors from many Garden Route schools attending. Guest speaker Dr. Merle Friedman provided some hilarious scenarios, and all had a wonderful time not only getting to know one other, but also learning from each other. Oakhill’s Interact Committee came back bubbling with enthusiasm and buzzing with new ideas. Oakhill would like to thank the Rotary for their ongoing support of Interact. Thanks too to Belvidere Manor for the lovely teatime-eats and the lunch … perfect for growing and always hungry young people!
The 2015/2016 Interact Club is headed up by Sadhana Moodley, Nic Reid, Michaela Cross and Rebekah Utian. The Club also delivered a very successful and entertaining Fashion Show on Friday, 21 August, raising funds for local community projects.
