We have loved learning about all the different shipwrecks and even spent hours building our own out of planks! Pulling in an unsuspecting dad to help with the masts and sails!
We had a special time spent with Mr Kidwell this morning and heard all about the story of “Wolraad Woltemade”. Talking about acts of bravery, awards given and why the Woltemade Cross was awarded for bravery. Having learnt about shipwrecks we spoke in particular with regards to Shipwrecks and disasters, we looked at real pictures of ships and boats being wrecked in storms, on rocks and of course ice-bergs.
