Maren Seydack, a Grade 12 student at Oakhill, was asked by Stefan de Bruyn at the Hippo Dive School and as the scuba diving instructor at Oakhill to assist with the rescue of the Knysna Seahorses in the Ashmead channel at the beginning of February. The channel was to be dredged and they were hoping to rescue as many seahorses as possible.
