Gratitude on Green Day

Gratitude on Green Day

This morning we commemorated the Knysna Fires of 2017 by “going green” and focusing on the renewal and regrowth since the fires, as well as re-committing ourselves to caring for and appreciating our beautiful environment. Pupils and staff had fun dressing in green, and Prep teachers prepared a day of ‘green’ discussions and outdoor activities. One of these was planting a little spekboom tree in a degradable container, which the pupils took great delight in being able to take home to replant in their own gardens 💚
