Last week our Grade 7s enjoyed an informative and meaningful township tour facilitated by Wandu Tours. The focus of this experience was to create an awareness of the day-to-day life experiences of people from different communities and to recognise the role of leaders within these communities. The tour included a traditional light lunch at the Roosterkoek Restaurant, and the pupils also visited Chris Nissan school, where they handed over some much-needed stationery as a gift. This is the sixth year that the Grade 7s have shared in this great experience! Sincere thanks to Mawande for the enlightening experience and for making the visit such a memorable one.
