On Thursday 12 November the Grade 7 children, their parents and teachers gathered at Simola for the annual Grade 7 Farewell Dinner. Guests were treated to delicious food in a wonderfully welcoming venue. Among the formalities of the evening were speeches from four of the Grade 7s reflecting on their school days, a speech by Mr Cross and a formal toast to the Grade 7s by Mr Kidwell. A highlight of the evening is the traditional handing over of certificates by the children to those teachers that have taught them during their time at Oakhill. The children were also presented with a small gift from the school.
