Last term many of our current Grade 7 pupils received their certificates for the annual International Benchmarking Tests for English and Mathematics – IEB Core Skills Tests done in their Grade 6 year.
As an IEB school, like most other independent schools in the country, we partake in the Grade 6 Core Skills Tests and the International Benchmarking Tests for English and Mathematics.
The Core Skills Test results paint a healthy picture with 12 Oakhill pupils achieving a result above 80%. That constitutes 26% of all the Grade 6 pupils at Oakhill. We are also significantly above the IEB average for Language Thinking, Mathematical Thinking, Visual Literacy and Complex Thinking and 4 pupils achieved in the 90th percentile or above for this test.
