2014 George Eisteddfod participants, with Prep Drama teacher Beatrix Hardick

Once again the students of Oakhill did us proud at the annual George Eisteddfod.

This year saw us enter 52 items Рthe most items our school has ever entered! The children worked hard and enjoyed the experience of taking part against other children from over 22 schools in our region.

The overall results were as follows:

  • A+++= 3
  • A++ = 14
  • A+=18
  • A = 8
  • B+ = 8
  • B =1

Jessica Hall in Grade 4 received an A+++ for her monologue “Is it a Monster?”, and Emma Gibson in Grade 6 received two A+++ results in the¬†undramatised prose and undramatised poetry divisions for “Clockwork Angle” and “The Dancer”.

Well done to all our students on fantastic participation and results!
