Due to popular demand the Oakhill Christmas Market hosted at the Thesen Harbour Town is back again after a short absence. This much anticipated pop-up annual market will be on Sunday, 8 December between 10:00-15:00 and is not to be missed.
First hosted on Thesen Island in 2017, the Oakhill Christmas Market gained excellent traction and community appeal with wonderful reviews from visitors, both local and tourists, vendors, store owners and residents on the island over the years. Oakhill and The Lofts shared a like-minded passion for Knysna and the community, and together with Thesen Islands Commercial Owners Association have been able to offer a welcoming experience for locals and visitors alike.
The Oakhill Christmas market is a festive event that showcases the spirit of the holiday season within the school and Knysna community. Typically featuring stalls run by parents, students and local vendors, the market offers a variety of handmade crafts, baked goods, seasonal treats and gifting treasures. You can anticipate a real family experience as there are fun, creative and craft activities for the children. Expect plenty of festive cheer with live music, delicious food and an opportunity to buy your own decorations, wreaths and Christmas themed gifts.
