Epic Camp to Oudtshoorn

Epic Camp to Oudtshoorn

Mid November, the Grade 5s embarked on an adventurous trip to Oudtshoorn, where they delved into the world of ostriches, Bartholomew Diaz and the Cango Caves.

Day One involved tree-top obstacles, ziplines, and a whole lot of skill-testing antics. To cool off after a hot and busy morning, they ventured off to the Hartenbos Water Park. And then, set sail into history to see the remodelled ship that Bartholomew Diaz navigated and South Africa’s first postal system. Day Two brought them face-to face with the majestic ostriches, complete with impromptu “neck massages.” Who knew feathered friends could be so spa-worthy? At Wilgewandel, it was all about team-work. After this they explored the Cango Caves where some of them conquered the adventure trail! On Day Three, the Cango Wildlife Ranch became their classroom where they got the lowdown on all the animals.

These 3 days were nothing short of epic encounters and experiences which are etched into their memories forever.
