Congratulations to Colbyn Parr (Grade 5) who received his Eden District Swimming Colours and to Riley (Grade 4) and India (Grade 1) for representing Eden and receiving their Junior Eden Colours when they competed in the last school holidays.
Colbyn and Riley Parr also competed at separate SA Level Champ Galas in Cape Town. Riley competed in Level 1 in Somerset West in 4 events achieving personal bests in all 4 events.
Remarkably Colbyn competed for the first time in SA Champs, in Level 3 in 14 events also achieving excellent results with personal bests in every event and then again in finals to qualify for 5 finals – achieved three 4ths, one 5th and one 6th – an incredible achievement, especially as he’s only been involved in formal swimming training for a year. Congratulations Colbyn!
