Dinosaur book reading

This week our Little Oakhillians were treated to a book reading and signing by our very own famous Knysnarian, Ben Ingel. Ben (currently in Matric) discovered a unique dinosaur tooth at the beach near his home when he was 11 years old. In his Grade 8 year, the tooth was authenticated as part of the Allosaurus family – one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs dated at around 120 million years old! Following his discovery, Ben’s gran wrote a book which the Grade Rs have loved reading, followed by doing their own research about dinosaurs. Ben joined them this week to share his story and answer their questions. They were beyond delighted to each receive their very own copies, personally signed by Ben!
